Sharpening our approach to weapons controls

In the lead up to the Federal Election 2010, the Government announced that it would implement tougher weapons controls across all States and Territories.

Customs and Border Protection conducted a consultation process to seek feedback and input on the implementation of the Government’s election commitment, and is currently reviewing submissions received in response to the consultation process.
