Swiss woman charged with importing 'Ice' in clutch handbags
A 51-year-old Swiss woman has been charged with importing approximately 2.5 kilograms of methamphetamine into Sydney Airport.
The woman was selected by Australian Customs and Border Protection Service (ACBPS) officers for a baggage examination after arriving into Sydney Airport on a flight from China on Wednesday, 11 December.
During the examination the ACBPS officers found ten clutch handbags containing methamphetamine (also known as ‘ice’).For more information read the media release.
