standardised data set project - agency engagement
To establish the Standardised Data Set we need agency assistance in:
- Completing a data questionnaire
- Discussing your data requirements with the analysis team when we visit youParticipating in the harmonising of agency data to the WCO model
- Providing agreement (or degree of disagreement) with the resulting Australian SDS
The Single Window business case will involve a series of agency workshops that will cover:
- Architecture Options
- Integrated Risk Options
- Determining the scope of benefits that can result from a Single Window
- How the Single Window will be delivered
- How development and implementation of the Single Window will be governed
It will be virtually impossible for all agencies to attend these workshops nor will it be necessary; what we need to do is identify who needs and is able to attend. However, all agencies will be advised of the outcomes and have the opportunity to provide input. To the degree to which we can, we will brief agency heads on the resulting business case and at the very least provide all agencies with a briefing pack.
We would like all agencies to:
- Contribute to the cost/benefit assessment
- Review and contribute to the final business case
- As required, participate in the Government submission
