SmartGate - locations

SmartGate is currently available at the following Australian international airports for arriving travellers:

• Sydney 
• Adelaide *
• Brisbane
• Cairns
• Melbourne *
• Perth *
• Gold Coast
• Darwin

* These locations have SmartGate kiosks in the arrivals concourses as well as at passport control.

Auckland International Airport

Three SmartGate kiosks are located at Auckland International Airport. Eligible travellers departing from Auckland can save time by completing the first step of their entry process into Australia before they leave New Zealand.

The kiosks are located at departures - two are in the concourse and one is outside the Air New Zealand and Qantas lounges. The kiosks can only be used by Australian and New Zealand ePassport holders who are travelling to airports where SmartGate is currently available.
