CPI adjustments - operative on and from 1 February 2012

Rates of duty for certain spirits, beer and tobacco products will increase from 1 February 2012, in line with movements in the Consumer Price Index (CPI).
The new rates of duty are available from here. Further information will be available from Australian Customs Notice 2012/2. These changes will be reflected in the tariff working pages.

Rates of duty for certain spirits, beer and tobacco products will increase from 1 August 2011, in line with movements in the Consumer Price Index (CPI).
