AMENDING AN IMPORT DECLARATION
Only import declarations that have been lodged with Customs can be amended. Import declarations that have been saved or submitted
but not lodged can be updated by retrieving the saved/submitted import declaration and using the Import Declaration Navigation Options
Create screen to access the details that need to be updated.
To amend an import declaration:
Step 1. From the Import Declaration (N10) Navigation Options View screen, click on the Amend button.
The Import Declaration Navigation Options Amend screen displays.
The Import Declaration (N10) Navigation Options Amend screen enables users with the appropriate access to navigate through the
amendment options for an import declaration. Amendments to import declarations can be made before or after the payment of duty, taxes and charges.
All fields are read-only.
The bold red text at the top of the screen indicates whether the import declaration is incomplete (not submitted) or submitted (not lodged).
The All Mandatory Information Provided checkboxes are updated by the ICS as each section is completed.
The Submit button only displays if all mandatory information is provided.
The Delete button only displays if the import declaration is incomplete.
Note: to return to the ICS Home Page without amending the import declaration details, click on the Return to Home Page button.
Step 2. To amend the import declaration details, click on the hyperlinks from the Section column to access the desired details.
The following table lists the actions available on the Import Declaration (N10) Navigation Options Amend screen.
