AMENDING THE HEADER
The Import Declaration (N10) Header Amend screen enables users with the appropriate access to update the header details of an import declaration.
To amend the import declaration header:
Step 1. From the Import Declaration (N10) Navigation Options Amend screen, click on the Header hyperlink.
The Import Declaration (N10) Header Amend screen displays.
The bold red text at the top of the screen indicates whether the import declaration is incomplete (not submitted) or submitted (not lodged).
The Paid Under Protest Details hyperlink only displays if a paid under protest statement exists.
If the import declaration has been paid then Paid Under Protest field is read-only.
The following fields are read-only:
* Declaration ID
* Lodged Date
* Version
* Section 70 Return Ind
* Paid Under Protest?
All other fields can be amended.
Step 2. Make the required changes to the import declaration header.
Note: to exit this screen without saving, click on the Cancel button.
Step 3. Click on the Save button.
A confirmation message displays.
Step 4. Click on the OK button.
The Import Declaration (N10) Navigation Options Amend screen displays.
