VESSEL SUMMARY SEARCH

The
Vessel Summary Search screen allows authorised users to search for all cargo for a vessel for a specific voyage.
The vessel summary search provides Customs officers and external parties the capability to list all cargo, in a combination of vessel identifier and voyage number, and may also limit results for a single port of discharge.

The search for a vessel summary can be based on different groups of criteria consisting of the following:

* vessel identifier
* voyage number
* discharge port code.

To search for a Vessel Summary:

Step 1. From the Main Menu, click on Sea Cargo, click on Vessel Summary, then click on Search.

The
Vessel Summary Search screen displays.

The default search criteria in the

Fields for this select combination are displayed as mandatory fields. All other fields are disabled.

Step 2. In the Select Combination field, click on the drop down button and select either:

* Vessel ID, Voyage No and Discharge Port Code (default)
* Vessel ID and Voyage No.

Fields identified in the select combination are displayed on the screen as mandatory. All other fields are disabled.

Note: the Vessel ID and Discharge Port Code can be found using a search. To do this, click on the relevant 'find' hyperlink and select the appropriate option from the list displayed.

Step 3. Enter the relevant values in the mandatory fields.

Step 4. Click on the Search button.

If more than one record is returned from the search, the
Vessel Summary List screen displays.

If only one record is returned from the search, one of the following
View screens display, depending on the source document:

* Sea Cargo Report - this provides details of sea cargo consignments used for the purposes of Customs risk assessment and control of goods

* Sea Cargo List - this provides a cargo reporter with the capability to inform Customs of cargo that does not require a Sea Cargo Report document

* Progressive Discharge Report - this provides a stevedore with the capability to report containerised cargo that has been discharged from vessels

* Underbond Movement Request - this provides cargo reporters with the capability to request the movement of import cargo from one licensed establishment to another licensed establishment, whilst the cargo is still under Customs control (i.e. the cargo has not yet satisfied all requirements for release to the Consignee)

* Sea Outturn Report - this provides stevedores with the capability to report Non-Containerised cargo that is discharged at their establishment from a vessel for a specific voyage within 5 days of the completion of unloading of a vessel.

Note: the search result for vessel summary is dependent upon the type of reports that have been lodged for a vessel on a specific voyage. For example, if a sea cargo report has been the only report submitted for the vessel/voyage, the Sea Cargo Report View screen displays but if a progressive discharge report had also been submitted for the same vessel/voyage, then the Progressive Discharge Report View screen displays.
